This is a lovely hotel which is set in quiet streets a little way back from the coast in Valparaiso but within walking distance of the main square. The owner is very sweet and helpful, and the breakfast is great with a choice of up to seven items.

The building in beautiful, with cozy apartments and small garden with pool with a panoramic view of the city and the sea. It’s a bohemian palace of the ‘30s and located 5 min walking from Neruda’s house Museum. The staff is very kind.

Patricio was fantastic.
The room was good. Pool and garden were nice. Easy walk down the hill. Cheap taxi rides there for coming up the hills. Great reading/sitting area with a fantastic view of the harbor.
Patricio was fantastic. He spoke English and that was great for us. The showers in the room need renovations or deep cleaning.

Among the best staff I've come across at a hotel.
Among the best staff I've come across at a hotel. It's very peaceful with great views in the heart of Valparaiso's 'hill' communities & only 2-3 minutes walk from Pablo Neruda's house. There are several cafes / restaurants in the area, too. I came for the spa which I thorougly enjoyed. The 'Dia de Spa' will stand me ready to go back to work, supported by a very healthy lunch. Breakfast was also excellent. There are some lovely relaxing spaces in the hotel, as well as the pool to cool off in.
